So we paddled about five hours to get to First Island. my shoulder hurts big time.. But Bill cooked a fantastic curry rice and chicken dish ... Now we are chilling by the fire.. With some wine !

Woke up on Eagle Island to 37 degrees!!! It's beautiful !! The mist on the lake has vanished.. I'll try to photograph it..

Eagle Island

We paddled from St. Regis Canoe Outfitters onto Eagle Island.. It was just a 40 min paddle.. Once we landed we set up the tents ... The air is becoming quite cool... Picked up a sweater at EMS in town.

We are about 1 hour outside of NJ headed north towards Saranac Lake... Sirius Radio is keeping us entertained... Reception is sucky on the iPhone ... Hope I can keep updating ...
